Preservation, storage and distribution of patient's medical records
The NHS and the medical industry in general have a large number of statutory requirements relating to the storage, preservation and distribution of patient records. Traditionally many patient records are held in a microfilm / microfiche library. Genus helps many health authorities manage and distribute these microfilm collections.
Many patient records have to be kept for the lifetime of the patient and longer. This requires a storage medium capable of safely securing information for up to 100 years. Genus provides a number of document and records management software solutions to allow for that same information to be stored and distributed in a timely fashion between GPs, doctors, wards, intensive care units and operating theatres.
