Genus achieves the internationally recognised ISO 27001 certification

At Genus, we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and information security and so we are proud to announce that we have recently achieved the internationally recognised ISO 27001 standard to complement our ISO 9001 certification.

ISO 27001 is an international standard designed to help establish and maintain an effective information security management system, using a continual improvement approach. It proves our commitment to the security of our customer, employee and stakeholder’s information. This commitment runs through the entire organisation supported by Senior Management. At the core of this standard is putting our customers first to ensure we consistently meet your needs and enhance your satisfaction. We’ve achieved this accreditation to ensure that you get consistent and good quality service.

The standard provides requirements for an Information Security Management System which is a systematic approach to managing sensitive information and the infrastructure supporting it so that it remains secure. It includes people, processes and IT systems by applying a risk management process.

ISO 27001 certification requires annual external audits in addition to the systematic reviews we undertake and demands we meet high standards of risk management and security control on an on-going basis.
