We are very excited that Martin French will be supporting our excellent team here at Genus, as an Imaging Consultant, bringing over 30 years of imaging experience with him.
Martin began his career after gaining his qualifications in photography. He then joined Dixons selling photographic equipment. Having a passion to travel Martin joined the Royal Navy, serving on-board many ships including HMS Invincible. After leaving the Navy he and his wife continued traveling and headed to Australia where Martin continued to gain experience in the photographic industry, running the new concept of a photographic minilab outlet in Sydney. On his return to the UK he joined Kodak and continued within the photographic industry.
As photography became more electronic, he saw the potential of what the digital market could offer and adapted his skills – selling and supporting microfilm, book and document scanning equipment.
As the demand for high quality imaging increases with the recent introduction of the high quality imaging standards that Genus and its suppliers are embracing, his expert knowledge of the photographic and digital imaging industry, together with our great range of equipment and services will enable Martin to assist our clients to receive the best imaging solution available.
Martin will be promoting the full range of Genus products including book scanners, microfilm consumables, micrographic scanning equipment, document management software, scanning services and our team of Equipment Engineers and Maintenance Contracts.
As we all start to slowly emerge from the COVID pandemic Genus firmly intends to hit the ground running, with an expanded sales team and range of products.
We warmly welcome Martin to the team, and we look forward to working with you all.
Paul Negus
Managing Director.
